ORDINANCE NO. N $-~9h AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE <br />SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT <br />CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 397 <br />AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 7-5-9 <br />(~XHIBIT AA 397 A) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application No~ 397, initiatedby <br />NORMAN and BLANCHE E. HERZIG for a change in District classification <br />from the R-1 and R-2 Districts to the C-5 District, and said Co~mis- <br />sion has recommended approval of said Amendment Application; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />notice and does now find that the .public necessity, convenience and <br />general welfare require the following amendment and that the use under <br />the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding <br />property. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES <br /> <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Aha, <br /> <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Beginning at a point where the center line of Seventeenth <br />Street intersects the center line of Santiago Street; thence <br />Southerly along the center line of Santiago Street for a <br />distance of 197.3 feet, more or less; thence Westerly along <br />a line approximately parallel to the center line of <br />Seventeenth Street for a distance of 191.9 feet, more or <br />less; thence Northerly along a line approximately para~l <br />to the center line of Santiago Street for a distance of <br />50 feet, more or less; thence Easterly along a line approxi- <br />mately parallel to the center line of Seventeenth Street for <br />a distance of 50 feet, more or less; thence Northerly along <br />a line approximately parallel to the center line of Santiago <br />Street for a distance of 147.3 feet, more or less, to the <br />center line of Seventeenth Street; thence Easterly along the <br />center line of Seventeenth Street for a distance of 141.9 <br />feet, more or less, to the point of beginning, <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified fro~ the R~i and R-2 Districts to the C-5 <br /> <br />District, and Sectional District Map 7-5-9 (Exhibit AA 397 A) is hereby <br /> <br />amended to show said reclassification. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2.
