OP~DINANCE NO. NS-~97 AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 401 AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 6-5-9 (EXHIBIT AA 401 A) WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly held a public hearing on Amendment Application NO. 401, initiated by BERNARD KAHN for a change in District classification from the R-2 District to the C-5 District and said Commission has recommended ap- proval of said Amendment Application; and WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on Notice and does now find that the use under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as: Beginning at a point where the center line of Poinsettia Street intersects the center line of Seventeenth Street; thence Northerly along the center line of Poinsettia Street for a distance of 121.7 feet, more or less; thence Easterly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Seventeenth Street for a distance of 115.0 feet, more or less; thence Southerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Poinsettia Street for a distance of 121.7 feet, more or less, to the center line of Seventeenth Street; thence Westerly along the center line of Seventeenth Street for a distance of 115.0 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning is hereby reclassified from the R-2 District to the C-5 District and Sectional District Map 6-5-9 (Exhibit AA 401 A) is hereby amended to show said reclassification. SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days from and after the date of its adoption.
