ORDINANCE NO. NS-601 DECLARING THE ANNEXATION <br />OF TERRITORY D~-SIGNATED "NEWPORT AND DYERt S. E. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on June 11, 1962, the City Council of the City of <br />Santa Aha declared its intention to annex uninhabited territory by <br />Resolution No. 62-110, which said Resolution was regularly published <br />as required by law, and gave notice of a protest hearing to be held <br />July 23, 1962, which hearing was regularly held on said notice and <br />on mailed notices as required by law; and after final adjournment of <br />said hearing on protests, it was found and declared by Resolution <br />No. 62-1~ that a majority protest had not been made. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That it finds and declares that said territory, <br />hereinbelow described, was uninhabited at the time Resolution <br /> <br />No. 62-110 was adopted initiating this proceeding, was contiguous to <br />the City of Santa Aha and shall not be taxed to pay any indebtedness <br />of the City of Santa Aha existing at the time of this annexation. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: That all of the territory situated in the County <br />of Orange, State of California, and described as: <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
