ORDINANCE NO. )~-603 AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE <br />SAAT~A ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT <br />CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 403 <br />AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 10-5-10 <br />(EXHIBIT AA 403 A) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 403, initiated by <br />PABST BREWING COMPANY for a change in District classification from <br />the R-2 District to the CM District, and said Commission has recom- <br />mended approval of said Amendment Application; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and <br />general welfare require the following amendment and that the use under <br />the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding <br />property. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES <br /> <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br /> <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br /> Beginning at a point where the center line of old King <br />Street intersects the Northerly boundary line of the Pacific <br />Electric Railroad right of way; thence Northeasterly along <br />the center line of old King Street for a distance of 230 <br />feet, more or less; thence Northwesterly along a line <br />approximately parallel to the Pacific Electric Railroad <br />right of way for a distance of 292 feet, more or less; <br />thence Southwesterly along a line approximately parallel <br />to the center line of old King Street for a distance of <br />190 feet, more or less, to the Northerly boundary line of <br />the Pacific Electric Railroad right of way; thence South- <br />easterly along the Northerly boundary line of the Pacific <br />Electric Railroad right of way for a distance of 300 feet, <br />more or less, to the point of beginning. <br /> <br />EXCEPTING those portions dedicated for street purposes, <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the R-2 District to the CM District, and <br /> <br />Sectional District Map 10-5-10 (Exhibit AA 403 A) is hereby amended <br /> <br />to show said reclassification. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall take effect thirty days from <br />and after the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
