ORDINANCE NO. ,NS- 604 A~iENDING ARTICLE IX OF ~I~qE <br />SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT <br />CLASSIFICATION ON Ai~ENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 400 <br />AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT ~P 2-5-10 <br />(EXHIBIT AA 400 B) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 400, initiated by <br />STATE FARMMUTUAL AUTOMOBILE INSURANCE CO. for a change in District <br />classification from the R-1 to the P District, and said Commission <br />has recommended that said Amendment Application be denied as requested, <br />but has recommended that the property involved be reclassified from <br />the R-1 District to the R-lB and P Districts in accordance with <br />Exhibit AA 400 B; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and <br />general welfare require the following amendment and that the use under <br />the new classifications will not be detrimental to the surrounding <br />property. <br /> <br />NOW, THEPd~FORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br /> <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1: That real property in the City of Santa Ana, County <br /> <br />of Orange, State of California, described as follows: <br /> <br />Parcel 1: Beginning at a point where a line 161 feet <br />Northerly of the center line of Seventeenth Street inter- <br />sects the center line of College Avenue; thence Northerly <br />along aline approximately parallel to. the center line of <br />Alona Street for a distance of 871.3 feet, more or less; <br />thence Westerly along a line approximately parallel to the <br />center line of Seventeenth Street for a distance of 360 feet, <br />more or less; thence Southerly along a line approximately <br />parallel to the center line of Alona Street for a distance <br />of 871.3 feet, more or less; thence Easterly along a line <br />approximately parallel to the center line of Seventeenth <br />Street for a distance of 360 feet, more or less, to the <br />point of beginning, <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the P District, and <br /> <br />Sectional District Map 2-5-10 (Exhibit AA 400 B) is hereby amended <br /> <br />to show said reclassification. <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
