ORDINANCE NO. NS-609 AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE <br />SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT <br />CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 406 <br />AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 6-5-9 <br />(EXHIBIT AA 406 B) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 406, initiated by <br />JOHN ROHRS, VERA B. ROHRS and J. EUGENE ROHRS for a change in District <br />classifications from the R-1 and R-2 Districts to the C-4 DistrAct, <br />and said C~m,ission has recommended that said Amendment Application <br />be denied as requested, but has reco~nended that the property <br />involved be reclassified from the R-1 and R-2 Districts to the C-4 <br />and R-lB Districts in accordance with Exhibit AA 406 B; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and <br />general welfare require the following amendments and that the use <br />under the new classifications will not be detrimental to the <br />surrounding property. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br /> <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br /> <br />County of Orange, state of California, described as: <br /> <br />Parcel 1: Beginning at a point where the center line of <br />Lincoln Avenue intersects the center line of Seventeenth <br />Street; thence Northerly along the center line of Lincoln <br />Avenue for a distance of 565 feet, more or less; thence <br />Westerly along a line approximately parallel to the center <br />line of Seventeenth Street for a distance of 980.5 feet, <br />more or less; thence Southerly along a line approximately <br />parallel to the center line of Lincoln Avenue for a <br />distance of 565 feet, more or less, to the center line of <br />Seventeenth Street; thence Easterly along the center line <br />of Seventeenth Street for a distance of 980.5 feet, more <br />or less, to the point of beginning, <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the R-1 and R-2 Districts to the C-4 <br />District, and Sectional District Map 6-5-9 (Exhibit AA 406 B) is <br /> <br />hereby amended to show said reclassification. <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
