ORDINANCE NO. NS-610AMENDINGARTICLE IX OF THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 407 AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 17-5-10 (EXHIBIT AA 407 A) WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 407, initiated by SOLOMON DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION for a change in District classi- fication from the A-1 District to the R-1 District, and said Commission has recommended approval of said Amendment Application; and WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and general welfare require the following amendment and that the use under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surround- ing property. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Aha, County of Orange, State of California, described as: Beginning at a point where a line 130 feet Westerly of the center line of Cooper Street intersects the Santa Aha City Limits boundary line at the Northeasterly corner of the property; thence Westerly along the Santa Aha boundary line for a distance of 660 feet, more or less; thence Southerly along the Santa Aha boundary line for a distance of 1568 feet, more or less; thence Easterly along the Santa Aha boundary line for a distance of 660 feet, more or less; thence Northerly along a line approximately parallel to the Santa Ana boundary line on the Westerly portion of the property for a distance of 1568 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning, is hereby reclassified from the A-1 District to the R-1 District, and Sectional District Map 17-5-10 (Exhibit AA 407 A) is hereby amended to show said reclassification. SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall take effect thirty days from and after the date of its adoption. -1-
