ORDINAi~CE NO. NS-623 AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE <br />SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT <br />CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION 418 AND <br />AMENDING S~CTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 16-5-10 <br />(EXHIBIT AA 418 A) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application 418, initiated by <br />STYLE CHAMPION HOMES for a change in district classification from the <br />A-1 District to the R-1 District, and said Commission has recommended <br />approval of said Amendment Application; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and <br />general welfare require the following amendment and that the use under <br />the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding <br />property. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES <br /> <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br /> <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Beginning at a point located 130 feet, more or less, Southerly <br />from the center line of McFadden Avenue and 1320 feet, more or <br />less, Westerly from the center line of Harbor Boulevard; <br />thence Southerly along a line approximately parallel to the <br />center line of Harbor Boulevard for a distance of 860.2 feet, <br />more or less; thence Easterly along a line approximately <br />parallel to the center line of McFadden Avenue for a distance <br />of 660.7 feet, more or less; thence Northerly along a line <br />approximately parallel to the center line of Harbor Boulevard <br />for a distance of 832.3 feet, more or less; thence Westerly <br />along a line approximately parallel to the center line of <br />McFadden Avenue for a distance of 199.4 feet, more or less; <br />thence Southerly along a line approximately parallel to the <br />center line of Harbor Boulevard for a distance of 17 feet, <br />more or less; thence Westerly along a line approximately <br />parallel to the center line of McFadden Avenue for a distance <br />of 132 feet, more Or less; thence Northerly along a line <br />approximately parallel to the center line of Harbor Boulevard <br />for a distance of 45 feet, more or less; thence Westerly along <br />a line approximately parallel to the center line of McFadden <br />Avenue for a distance of 329.9 feet, more or less, to the <br />point of beginning, <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the A-1 District to the R-1 District and <br /> <br />Sectional District Map 16-5-10 (Exhibit AA 418 A) is hereby amended <br /> <br />to show said reclassification. <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
