ORDINANCE NO. NS-624 AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE <br />SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT <br />CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDME~£ APPLICATION 419 AND <br />AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 32-4-9 (EXHIBIT <br />AA 419 A) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application NO. 419, initiated by <br />DONALD A. GANNON for a change in District classification from the <br />A-1 District to the 60-R1-7200 District, and said Commission has <br />recommended approval of said Amendment Application; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and <br />general welfare require the following amendment and that the use <br />under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding <br />property. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES <br /> <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br /> <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Beginning at a point where the center line of Fairhaven <br />Avenue intersects the center line of Cambridge Street; <br />thence Northerly along the center line of Cambridge Street <br />for a distance of 660 feet, more or less; thence Westerly <br />along a line approximately parallel to the center line of <br />Fairhaven Avenue for a distance of 660.7 feet, more or <br />less; thence Northerly along a line approximately parallel <br />to the center line of Cambridge Street for a distance of <br />660 feet, more or less; to the Santa Ana City Limits; <br />thence Westerly along the Santa Ana City Limits for a <br />distance of 666.1 feet, more or less; thence Southerly <br />along the Santa Ana City Limits for a distance of 1320 feet, <br />more or less, to the center line of Fairhaven Avenue; thence <br />Easterly along the center line of Fairhaven Avenue for a <br />distance of 1326.8 feet, more or less~ to the point of <br />beginning, <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the A1 District to the 60-R1-7200 District, <br /> <br />and Sectional District Map 32-4-9 (Exhibit AA 419 A) is hereby amended <br /> <br />to show said reclassification. <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
