ORDINANCE NO. NS-628 DECLARING THE ANNEXATION <br />OF TERRITORY DESIGNATED "NEWFORT AND DYER, S.E. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on July 23, 1962, the City Council of the City of <br /> <br />Santa Aha declared its intention to annex uninhabited territory by <br />Resolution No. 62-145, which said Resolution was regularly published <br />as required by law, and gave notice of a protest hearing to be held <br />September 10, 1962, which hearing was continued and was regularly held <br />on said notice, on mailed notices and on regular continuances as <br />required by law; and after final adjournment of said hearing on protests, <br />it ~as found and declared by Resolution No. 62-239 that a majority protest <br />had not been made. <br /> <br /> NOW, T/~qEFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That it finds and declares that said territory, <br />hereinbelo~ described, was uninhabited at the time Resolution No. 62-145 <br />~as adopted initiating this proceeding, was contiguous to the City of <br />Santa Aha and sb,]l not be taxed to pay any indebbedness of the City <br />of Santa Aha existing at the time of this annexation. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: That all of the territory situated in the County of <br />Orange, State of California, and described as: <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
