ORDINANCE NO. NS-631 AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION 423 AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 10-5-10 (E~/~IBIT AA 423 A) WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly held a public hearing on Amendment Application 423, initiated by JOHN BARKER and DONALD WAGONER for HACIENDA GARDENS DEVELOPMENT COMPANY for a change in District classifications frcan the M-1 and R-2 Districts to the R-1 District, and said Cc~unission has recommended approval of said reclassifications; and WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and general welfare require the following amendment and that the use under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: That real property in the City of Santa Aha, County of Orange, State of California, described as: Beginning at a point on the center line of Washington Avenue located 1359.1 feet, more or less, Easterly from that point where the center line of Washington Avenue intersects the center line of Harbor Boulevard; thence Northerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Harbor Boulevard for a distance of 662.8 feet, more or less, to the Pacific Electric Railway Right of Way; thence Northwesterly along the Pacific Electric Railway Right of Way for a distance of 8~2.9 feet, more or less; thence Southerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Harbbr Boulevard for a distance of 1196.1 feet, more or less, to the center line of Washington Avenue; thence Easterly along the center line of Washington Avenue for a distance of 698.6 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning, is hereby reclassified from the M-1 and R-2 Districts to the R-1 District, and Sectional District Map 10-5-10 (Exhibit AA 423 A) is hereby amended to show said reclassification. SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall take effect thirty days from and after the date of its adoption.
