ORDINANCE NO. NS-640 AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF <br />THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT <br />CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 426 <br />AND~IENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 8-5-10 <br />(EXHIBIT AA 426 B) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 426, initiated by <br />OLIVER M. HILL for a change in District classification from the R-1 <br />District to the C-1 District, and said Commission has reco~mended <br />denial of said change as requested, but has recommended that the <br />property involved be reclassified from the R-1 District to the C-1 <br />and R-lB Districts in accordance with Exhibit AA 426 B; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and <br />general welfare require the following amendment and that the use under <br />the new classifications will not be detrimental to the surrounding <br />property. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Parcel 1: Beginning at a point where the center line of <br /> ~olsa Avenue intersects the center line of Maxine Street; <br /> thence Northerly along the center line of Maxine Street <br /> for a distance of 163.2 feet, more or less; thence <br /> Westerly along a line approximately parallel to the center <br /> line of Bolsa Avenue for a distance of 190 feet, more or <br /> less; thence Northerly along a line approximately parallel <br /> to the center line of Maxine Street for a distance of <br /> 66.8 feet, more or less; thence Westerly along a line <br /> approximately parallel to the center line of Bolsa Avenue <br /> for a distance of 305 feet, more or less; thence Southerly <br /> along a line approximately parallel to the center line <br /> of Maxine Street for a distance of 230 feet, more or less, <br /> to the center line of Bolsa Avenue; thence Easterly along <br /> the center line of Bolsa Avenue for a distance of 495 feet, <br /> more or less, to the point of beginning, <br /> <br />is hereby <br />Sectional <br />show said <br /> <br />reclassified from the R-1 District to the C-1 District, and <br />District Map 8-5-10 (Exhibit AA 426 B) is hereby amended to <br />reclassification. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: That the real property in the City of Santa Aha, <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Parcel 2: Beginning at a point on the center line of Maxine <br /> Street located 163.2 feet, more or less, Northerly from <br /> that point where the center line of Maxine Street intersects <br /> the center line of Bolsa Avenue; thence Northerly along the <br /> center line of Maxine Street for a distance of 50 feet, <br /> more or less; thence Westerly along a line approximately <br /> parallel to the center line of Bolsa Avenue for a distance <br /> of 190 feet, more or less; thence Southerly along a line <br /> approximately parallel to the center line of Maxine Street <br /> for a distance of 50 feet, more or less; thence Easterly <br /> along a line approximately parallel to the center line of <br /> Bolsa Avenue for a distance of 190 feet, more or less, to <br /> the center line of Maxine Street and the point of <br /> beginning; <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
