ORDINANCE NO. NS-641 AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF <br />THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT <br />CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 427 <br />AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 12-5-10 <br />(EXHIBIT AA 427 B) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application no. 427, initiated by <br />KATHLEEN O. HOWARD and MARVIN M. ROHRS for a change in District <br />classification from the R-3HB District to the C-2 District, and said <br />Commission has recommended denial of said change as requested, but <br />recommended that the property involved be reclassified from the R-3HB <br />District to the C-1 District in accordance with Exhibit AA 427 B; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and <br />general welfare require the following amendment and that the use under <br />the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding <br />property. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Beginning at a point where the center line of Fifteenth <br />Street intersects the center line of Sycamore Street; thence <br />Easterly along the center line of Fifteenth Street for a <br />distance of 134 feet, more or less; thence Northerly along a <br />line approximately parallel to the center line of Sycamore <br />Street for a distance of 140 feet, more or less; thence <br />Westerly along a line approximately parallel to the center <br />line of Fifteenth Street for a distance of 134 feet, more <br />or less, to the center line of Sycamore Street; thence <br />Southerly along the center line of Sycamore Street for a <br />distance of 140 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning, <br /> <br />is here~y reclassified from the R-3HB District to the C-1 District, and <br />Sectional District Map 12-5-10 (Exhibit AA 427 B) is hereby amended to <br />show said reclassification. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall take effect thirty days from <br />and after the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />Ana at <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />its regular meeting held on the 18th day of March , 1953. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ~ SS <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> I, DORIS M.
