ORDINANCE NO. NS-646 AMENDING ARTICLE IX <br />OF THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE <br />DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT <br />APPLICATION 412 AND A~IENDING SECTIONAL <br />DISTRICT MAP 5-5-9 (EXHIBIT AA 412 C) AND <br />REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. NS-630 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application 412, initiated by <br />ROBERT F. BUCPiHEIM for changes in District classifications from the <br />A-1 and R1-B Districts to the C-5, R-4 and R-1 Districts, and said <br />Commission has recommended approval of said reclassifications in <br />accordance with Exhibit AA 412 C; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and <br />general welfare require the following amendments, and that the uses <br />under the new classifications will not be detrimental to the <br />surrounding property. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Parcel 1: Beginning at a point on the center line of <br />Sherry Street located 528 feet, more or less, Northerly <br />from that point where the center line of Sherry Street <br />intersects the center line of Seventeenth Street; thence <br />Northerly along the center line of Sherry Street for a <br />distance of 193 feet, more or less, to the radial point <br />of the Sherry Street cul-de-sac; thence Westerly along <br />a line approximately parallel to the center line of <br />Seventeenth Street for a distance of 30 feet, more or <br />less; thence Northerly along a line approximately parallel <br />to the center line of Sherry Street and its Northerly <br />projection for a distance of 284 feet, more or less; thence <br />Westerly along a line approximately parallel to the center <br />line of Seventeenth Street for a distance of 575 feet, <br />more or less; thence Southerly along a line approximately <br />parallel to the center line of Sherry Street for a distance <br />of 477 feet, more or less; thence Easterly along a line <br />approximately parallel to the center line of Seventeenth <br />Street for a distance of 605 feet, more or less, to the <br />point of beginning, <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the A-1 District to the R-4 District, <br />and Sectional District ~ap 5-5-9 (Exhibit AA 412 C) is hereby <br />amended to show said reclassification. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Parcel 2: Beginning at a point located 605 feet, more or <br />less, from the center line of Sherry Street and 528 feet, <br />more or less, from the center line of Seventeenth Street, <br />the same being the Southwest corner of Parcel 1 as herein- <br />above described; thence Northerly along the Westerly <br />boundary line of Parcel 1, hereinabove described, for a <br />distance of 477 feet, more or less; thence Westerly along <br />a line approximately parallel to the center line of <br />Seventeenth Street for a distance of 260 feet, more or less; <br />thence Southerly along a line approximately parallel to the <br />center line of Wright Street for a distance of 477 feet, <br />more or less; thence Easterly along a line approximately <br />parallel to the center line of Seventeenth Street for a <br />distance of 260 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning, <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
