ORDINANCE NO. NS-651 AMENDING ARTICLE IX <br />OF THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE <br />DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT <br />APPLICATION NO. 432 AND AMENDING SECTIONAL <br />DISTRICT MAP 7-5-9 (EXHIBIT AA 432 A) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 432, filed by <br />ANTON H. SEGERSTROM, et al., for a change in District classification <br />from the C-2 and P Districts to the C-3 District, and said Con~nission <br />has recommended approval of said change with the understanding that <br />the applicant will make an application to rezone certain properties <br />within a 300 foot radius to the B suffix to permit adequate parking <br />for their proposed facility; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and <br />general welfare require the following amendment and that the use <br />under the new classification will not be detrimental to the <br />surrounding property. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Aha, <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Beginning at that point where the center line of Main <br />Street intersects the center line of Tenth Street; thence <br />Northerly along the center line of Main Street for a <br />distance of 312 feet, more or less, to that point where <br />the center line of Main Street intersects the center line <br />of Eleventh Street; thence Easterly along the center line <br />of Eleventh Street for a distance of 358 feet, more or <br />less, to that point where the center line of Eleventh <br />Street intersects the center line of Bush Street; thence <br />Southerly along the center line of Bush Street for a <br />distance of 312 feet, more or less, to that point where <br />the center line of Bush Street intersects the center line <br />of Tenth Street; thence Westerly along the center line of <br />Tenth Street for a distance Of 358 feet, more or less, to <br />the center line of Main Street and the point of beginning, <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the C-2 and P Districts to the C-3 <br />District, and Sectional District Map 7-5-9 (Exhibit AA 432 A) is <br />hereby amended to show said reclassification. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall take effect thirty days <br />from and after the date of its adoption. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 20th day of May, 1963. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLER~ OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
