ORDINANCE NS-655 AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE <br />SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT <br />CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 436 <br />AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 23-5-10 <br />(E~HIBIT AA 436 B) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 436, filed by <br />CASPER B. SCHEVE for a change in District classification from the <br />R-1 District to the C-5, R-2 and R-2B Districts; said Co~mission <br />recommended denial of said reclassification as requested, but <br />recommended approval in accordance with ExhibitAA 436 B; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held apublic hearing on <br />notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and <br />general welfare require the following amendments and that the uses <br />under the new classifications will not be detrimental to the <br />surrounding property. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, TPIE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That ~he real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Parcel 1: Beginning at a point on the center line of <br />Edinger Avenue located 1,402 feet, more or less, <br />Westerly from that point where the center line of <br />Edinger Avenue intersects the center line of Bristol <br />Street; thence Southerly along a line approximately <br />parallel to the center line of Bristol Street for a <br />distance of 212 feet, more or less; thence Easterly <br />along a line approximately parallel to the center line <br />of Edinger Avenue for a distance of 81 feet, more or <br />less; thence Northerly along a line approximately <br />parallel to the center line of Bristol Street for a <br />distance of 212 feet, more or less, to the center line <br />of Edinger Avenue; thence Westerly along the center <br />line of Edinger Avenue for a distance of 81 feet, more <br />or less, to the point of beginning, <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the C-5 District, <br />and Sectional District Map 23-5-10 is hereby amended to show said <br />reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 436 B. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Parcel 2: Beginning at a point located 212 feet, more <br />or less, Southerly from the center line of Edinger <br />Avenue and 1,402 feet, more or less, Westerly from the <br />center line of Bristol Street, the same being the <br />Southwest corner of Parcel 1 as hereinabove described; <br />thence Southerly along a line approximately parallel <br />to the center line of Bristol Street for a distance of <br />40 feet, more or less; thence Easterly along a line <br />approximately parallel to the center line of Edinger <br />Avenue for a distance of 81 feet, more or less; thence <br />Northerly along a line approximately parallel to the <br />center line of Bristol Street for a distance of 40 <br />feet, more or less, to the Southeasterly corner of <br />Parcel 1 as hereinabove described; thence westerly <br />along a line approximately parallel to the center line <br />of Edinger Avenue, said line also being the Southerly <br />boundary line of Parcel 1 hereinabove described, for a <br />distance of 81 feet, more or less, to the point of <br />beginning, <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
