ORDINANCE NS-661 AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE <br />SANTA ANAMUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT <br />CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION <br />NO. 448 AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP <br />17-5-9 (EXHIBIT AA 448 A) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Conunission has given notice of and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 448, filed by <br />CARL C. HILLGREN for a change in District classifications from the <br />R-1 and M-1 Districts to the R-4 District, and said Commission has <br />recommended denial of said reclassification; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />notice and does now find th~athe Planning Commission should be <br />overruled; that public necessity, convenience and general welfare <br />require the following amendment, and that the use under the new <br />classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br /> Beginning at that point where the center line of Warren Street <br /> intersects the center line of Lyon Street; thence Southerly <br /> along the center line of Lyon Street and along the Santa Ana <br /> City Boundary for a distance of 1073.7 feet, more or less; <br /> thence Westerly along a line approximately parallel to the <br /> center line of Warren Street for a distance of 609.4 feet, <br /> more or less, to the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railroad <br /> Right of Way; thence Northwesterly along said Railroad Right <br /> of Way for a distance of 403.6 feet, more or less; thence <br /> Northerly along a line approximately parallel to the center <br /> line of Lyon Street for a distance of 816 feet, more or less, <br /> to the center line of Warren Street; thence Easterly along <br /> the center line of Warren Street for a distance of 920 feet, <br /> more or less, to the point of beginning, <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the R-1 and M-1 Districts to the R-4 <br />District, and Sectional District Map 17-5-9 is hereby amended to <br />show said reclassifications in accordance with Exhibit AA 448 A. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall take effect thirty days <br />from and after the date of its adoption. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 17t~ day of June, 1963. <br /> <br />ATTEST: . - . <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE'~OUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) SS <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> I, DORIS M.
