ORDINANCE NS-666 DECIARING THE ANNEF~TION OF TERRITOBY DESIGNATED "FIFTH STIp~T AND SANTA ANA RIVER - S. E. ANNEX" WHEREAS, ~n May 6th, 1963; the City C~uncil ~f the City ef Saata Aha declared its intention to ~nnex uniahabited territory by Resolution No. 63-78, which said Resoluti~ was reg~.l~y published as req.,t~ed by 1-w -nd gave n~ice of a pretest hearing to be held June 17~ 1963; which hearing w~s regularly held; and afSer final ad$~urnment ~f said hearing an protests, it was f~und and declared by ResoDAtian NO. 63-108 that a majority protest had not been made. NOW, THEREFOEE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: That it finds sad declares that said territory hereimbel~w described was ~n~nhabited at the time Resolution No. 63-78 was ad~pted initiati~g this pr~ceed~E; was contiguous to the City of Santa Ana~ sad sb-11 not be taxed to pay am~ indebtedness of the City existing at the time of this ----Yationo SECTION 2: That all of the territory situated in the C~unty of State of Cal~f~rnia, and described as: Begt--t-5 at a point in theWester]~y 11ne of the 400 f~(f~ wide right of way for the Cb-~-el of the Santa A~a River; said point being an a ~f-e parallel with amd 30.00 feet Nar~h, measured at right augles~ from the center 1t-e of Fifth Street as said Fifth Street was conveyed t9 the C~u~ty of Orate by deed recorded in B~k 232, Page 32?, Deeds~ Records of Orsage Cc~uty, C~ala, said l~int being an angle l~int in the boundary ~f the City ~f Santa A~a, as establ,t ~hed by Ordinance No. N. S. 367; and ~,m~n~ thence from said point East 860 feet; m~re or less, along said City B~undary amd aleng said parallel l~-e to an angle peint in said City B~Audary, as established by Ordinance No. N.
