ORDINANCE NS-669 AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE <br />SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT <br />CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION <br />NO. 442 AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP <br />24-5-10 (EXHIBIT AA 442 A) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 442, filed by <br />DR. LOCK GEE DING for a change in District classification from the <br />R-1 District to the P District, and said Commission has recommended <br />approval of said reclassification; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing <br />on notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience <br />and general welfare require the following amendment and that the <br />use under the new classification will not be detrimental to the <br />surrounding property. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Beginning at that point where the center line of Broadway <br />intersects the center line of Pomona Street; thence <br />Northerly along the center line of Broadway for a distance <br />of 705.7 feet, more or less, to that point where said <br />center line intersects the center line of Edinger Avenue; <br />thence Westerly along the center line of Edinger Avenue <br />for a distance of 155 feet, more or less; thence Southerly <br />along a line approximately parallel to the center line <br />of Broadway for a distance of 705.7 feet, more or less, <br />to the center line of Pomona Street; thence Easterly <br />along the center line of Pomona Street for a distance of <br />155 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning, <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the P District, <br />and Sectional District Map 24-5-10 is hereby amended to show said <br />reclassification in accordance with E~hibit AA 442 A. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall take effect thirty days from <br />and after the date of its adoption. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 15th day of July, 1963. <br /> <br />ATTEST: . 7 ~ <br /> <br /> 2't ? <br />CL K OF COUNCIL <br /> <br /> OF O GE SS <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> I, DORIS M.
