ORDINANCE NS-676 AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE <br />SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT <br />CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION <br />NO. 452 AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP <br />8-5-9 (EXHIBIT AA 452 C) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 452, filed by <br />EDYTHE M. CARSON for a change in District classification from the <br />R-1 District to the C-1 and R-4 Districts, and said co~mission <br />recommended the change from the R-1 District to the CD District <br />rather than the requested C-1 District and made no recommendation <br />on the requested R-4 District; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing <br />on notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience <br />and general welfare require the following amendmen~ and that the <br />use under the new classifications will not be detrimental to the <br />surrounding property. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Aha, <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Parcel 1: Beginning at a point on the center line of <br /> Tustin Avenue located 645 feet, more or less, southerly <br /> from that point where the center line of Tustin Avenue <br /> intersects the center line of Seventeenth Street; thence <br /> westerly along a line approximately parallel to the <br /> center line of Seventeenth Street for a distance of <br /> 330 feet, more or less; thence southerly along a line <br /> approximately parallel to the center line of Tustin <br /> Avenue for a distance of 645 feet, more or less; thence <br /> easterly along a line approximately parallel to the <br /> center line of Seventeenth Street for a distance of <br /> 330 feet, more or less, to the center line of Tustin <br /> Avenue; thence northerly along the center line of <br /> Tustin Avenue for a distance of 642.3 feet, more or <br /> less, to the point of beginning, <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the CD District, <br />and Sectional District Map 8-5-9 is hereby amended to show said <br />reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 452 C. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: That the real property in the City of Santa Aha, <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />P~rcel 2: Beginning at a point located 330 feet, more or <br /> less, westerly from the center line of Tustin Avenue and <br /> 645 feet, more or less, southerly from the center line <br /> of Seventeenth Street, said point also being the north- <br /> west corner of Parcel 1,hereinabove described; thence <br /> westerly along a line approximately parallel to the <br /> center line of Seventeenth Street for a distance of <br /> 1127.3 feet, more or less, to the center line of an <br /> unnamed street; thence southerly along the center line <br /> of said unnamed street for a distance of 645 feet, more <br /> or less; thence easterly along a line approximately <br /> parallel to the center line of Seventeenth Street for a <br /> distance of 1127.3 feet, more or less, to the southwest <br /> corner of Parcel 1,hereinabove described; thence <br /> northerly along a line approximately parallel to the <br /> center line of Tustin Avenue, the same being the westerly <br /> boundary of Parcel 1,hereinabove described, for a distance <br /> of 645 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning, <br /> <br /> <br />
