ORDINANCE NS-677 AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE <br />SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT <br />CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION <br />NO. 447 AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP <br />5-5-9 (EXHIBIT AA 447 B) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 447, filed by <br />EUGENE GOODFRIEND for a change in District classification from the <br />A-1 District to the R-1 District, and said Cc~mission has recommended <br />approval of Exhibit AA 447 B which provides for a minimum lot size <br />(60 foot width, 7200 square foot area); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and <br />general welfare require the following amendment, and that the use <br />under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding <br />area. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Beginning at that point on the center line of Fairhaven <br />Avenue located 616.1 feet, more or less, easterly from <br />that point where the center line of Fairhaven Avenue <br />intersects the center line of Grand Avenue; thence <br />southerly along a line approximately parallel to the <br />center line of Grand Avenue for a distance of 696.2 feet, <br />more or less; thence westerly along a line approximately <br />parallel to the center line of Fairhaven Avenue for a <br />distance 321.3 feet, more or less; thence northerly along <br />a line approximately parallel to the center line of Grand <br />Avenue for a distance of 696.2 feet, more or less, to the <br />center line of Fairhaven Avenue; thence easterly along the <br />center line of Fairhaven Avenue for a distance of 321.3 feet, <br />more or less, to the point of beginning, <br />is hereby reclassified from the A-1 District to the 60-R1-7200 <br />District, and Sectional District Map 5-5-9 is hereby amended to show <br />said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 447 B. <br /> SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall take effect thirty days from <br />and after the date of its adoption. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br /> <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) SS <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br /> I, DORIS M.
