ORDINANCE NS-686 ~qENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE <br />SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT <br />CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. <br />462 Ai~D AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP <br />7-5-9 (EXHIBIT AA 462 A) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 462, filed by <br />JOSEPH A. MUELLER for a change in District classification from the <br />R-1 District to the CM District, and said Commission has recommended <br />approval of said reclassification; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and <br />general welfare require the following amendment, and that the use <br />under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding <br />property. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br /> Beginning at a point on the south line of Washington Avenue <br /> located 282 feet, more or less, westerly from the center <br /> line of Grand Avenue; thence northwesterly along the south <br /> line of Washington Avenue for a distance of 239.1 feet, more <br /> or less; thence southerly along a line approximately parallel <br /> to the center line of Grand Avenue for a distance of 142.7 <br /> feet, more or less; thence easterly along a line approximately <br /> parallel to the center line of Fruit Street for a distance of <br /> 191.9 feet, more or less, to the south line of Washington <br /> Avenue and the point of beginning, <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the CM District, and <br />Sectional District Map 7-5-9 is hereby amended to show said reclassi- <br />fication in accordance with Exhibit AA 462 A. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days <br />from and after the date of its adoption. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 3rd day of September, 1963. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />SS <br /> <br /> I, DORIS M.
