ORDINANCE NS-689 AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE <br />SANTA ANA MLrNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT <br />CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION <br />NO. 469 AND ~ENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP <br />23-5-10 (EXHIBIT AA 469 A) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 469, filed by <br />FRANCIS E. PENHALL for a change in district classification from the <br />R-2 District to the C-5 District, and said Commission has recommended <br />approval of said reclassification; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and <br />general welfare require the following amendment and that the use <br />under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding <br />property. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Beginning at a point on the center line of Edinger Avenue <br />located 150 feet, more or less, westerly from that point <br />where the center line of Edinger Avenue intersects the <br />center line of Greenville Street; thence westerly along the <br />center line of Edinger Avenue for a distance of 162.1 feet, <br />more or less; thence southerly along a line approximately <br />parallel to the center line of Diamond Street for a distance <br />of 141 feet, more or less; thence easterly along a line <br />approximately parallel to the center line of Edinger Avenue <br />for a distance of 129.7 feet, more or less; thence north- <br />easterly along a line approximately parallel to the center <br />line of Greenville Street for a distance of 145.4 feet, more <br />or less, to the center line of Edinger Avenue and the point <br />of beginning, <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the R-2 District to the C-5 District and <br />Sectional District Map 23-5-10 is hereby amended to show said reclassi- <br />fication in accordance with Exhibit AA 469 A. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days <br />from and after the date of its adoption. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana <br />at its regular meeting held on the 7th day of October, 1963. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) <br />CIndY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />SS <br /> <br />I, DORIS M.
