ORDINANCE NS-691 AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE <br />SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT <br />CLASSIFICATION ON AMRNDMENT APPLICATION <br />NO. 460 AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP <br />11-5-10 (EXHIBIT AA 460 C) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly <br />held public hearings on Amendment Application NO. 460, filed by <br />F. GERALD ENGLISH for a change in District classification from the <br />R-1 District to the R-4 District, and said Cc~mission has recommended <br />approval of said reclassification in accordance with ExhibitAA 460 C; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and <br />general welfare require the following amendment and that the use <br />under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding <br />property. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Beginning at a point on the center line of King Street, <br />located 235 feet, more or less, measured southerly and <br />at right angles to the center line of Seventeenth Street; <br />thence southwesterly along the center line of King Street <br />for a distance of60~6 feet, more or less; thence westerly <br />along a line approximately parallel to the center line of <br />Seventeenth Street for a distance of 683.9 feet, more or <br />less, to the easterly boundary of the Santa Aha River; <br />thence northeasterly along the easterly boundary of the <br />Santa Ana River for a distance of6~7,6 feet, more or less; <br />thence easterly along a line approximately parallel to the <br />center line of Seventeenth Street for a distance of 583.4 <br />feet, more or less, to the center line of King Street and <br />the point of beginning, <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the R-4 District, <br />and Sectional District Map 11-5-10 is hereby amended to show said <br />reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 460 C. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: That this ordinance shall take effect thirty days <br />from and after the date of its adoption. <br /> <br /> PASSF~D AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 4th day of November, 1963. <br /> <br />cLE OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF XFO IA) <br />COUNTY OF OHANGE ) SS <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> I, DORIS M.
