ORDINANCE NS-698 AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE <br />SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT <br />CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION <br />NO. 473 AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP <br />28-5-10 (EXHIBIT AA 473 A) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 473, filed by <br />L. TREVOR GRIMM for a change in District classification from the <br />M-1 District to the M-2 District, and said Commission has recommended <br />approval of said reclassification; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and <br />general welfare require the following amendment and that the use <br />under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding <br />area. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Beginning at that point on the boundary line of the City <br />of Santa Ana where the center line of Talbert Avenue <br />intersects the center line of Newhope Street; thence <br />Northerly along the center line of Newhope Street for a <br />distance of 646.6 feet, more or less, to the East bank <br />of the Santa Ana River; thence Southwesterly along the <br />East bank of the Santa Ana River, the same being the <br />boundary line of the City of Santa Ana, for a distance <br />of 776 feet, more or less, to the center line of Talbert <br />Avenue; thence Easterly along the center line of Talbert <br />Avenue, the same being the boundary line of the City of <br />Santa Ana, for a distance of 429 feet, more or less, to <br />the point of beginning, <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the M-1 District to the M-2 District, <br />and Sectional District Map 28-5-10 is hereby amended to show said <br />reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 473 A. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days <br />from and after the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />Ana at <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />its regular meeting held on the 2ndday~.~ of Dec/e~. er, 1963. <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) SS <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br /> I, DORIS M.
