ORDINANCE NS-705 OVERRULING THE DECISION OF THE PLARI~ING COMMISSION AND AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION' ON AMEND- MENT APPLICATION 480 AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 26-5-10 IN ACCORDANCE WITH ~XHIBIT AA 480 A WHEREAS, the Planning Co~mission has given notice of and duly held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 480, filed by BURROUGHS CORPORATION and ANTON H. SEGERSTROM, ET AL., for a change in District classification from the M-1 District to the C-i, C-2, R-4 and R-1 6000 Districts, and said Commission reco~L,~ended approval of reclassification from the M-1 District to the C-i, C-2 and R-1 Districts in accordance with Exhibit AA 480 B; and WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on notice and does now find that the decision of the Planning Commission should be overruled; that the public necessity, convenience and general welfare require the following amendments and that the uses under the new classifications will not be detrimental to the surrounding property; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: County PARCEL SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, of Orange, State of California, described as: 1: Beginning at the intersection of the north line of the Pacific Electric Railway Right of Way as shown on a map recorded in Book 45, Page 17, Record of Surveys of said Orange County, with the easterly line of the Orange County Flood Control District Channel right of way; thence northerly along said easterly line tO a point in a line parallel with and 400 feet northerly from said north line; thence easterly along said parallel line 780 feet, more or less, to a point in a line parallel with and 400 feet westerly from the west line of B~tstol Street as shown on said map; thence northerly along said parallel line 3,300 feet, more or less, to a point in a line parallel with and 700 feet southerly from the south line of Warner Avenue as said south line is shown on said map; thence westerly along said parallel line 355 feet, more or less; thence northerly 760 feet, more or less, to the center line of Warner Avenue; thence easterly along the center line of Warner Avenue for a distance of 455 feet, more or less; thence southerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Bristol Street for a distance of 360 feet, more or less; thence easterly along a line approxi- mately parallel tolthe center line of Warner Avenue for a distance of 340 feet, more or less, to the center line of Bristol Street; thence southerly along the center line of Bristol Street for a distance of 2630 feet, more or less; thence westerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Segerstrom Avenue for a distance of 190 feet, more or less; thence southerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Bristol Street for a distance of 384 feet, more or less; thence easterly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Segerstro~ Avenue for a distance of 190 feet, more or less, to the center line of Bristol Street; thence southerly along the center line of Bristol Street for a distance of 830 feet, more or less; thence westerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Talbert Avenue for a distance of 231 feet, more or less; thence southerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Bristol Street
