ORDINANCE NS-705 OVERRULING THE DECISION <br />OF THE PLARI~ING COMMISSION AND AMENDING <br />ARTICLE IX OF THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE <br />TO CHANGE DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION' ON AMEND- <br />MENT APPLICATION 480 AND AMENDING SECTIONAL <br />DISTRICT MAP 26-5-10 IN ACCORDANCE WITH <br />~XHIBIT AA 480 A <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Co~mission has given notice of and <br />duly held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 480, filed <br />by BURROUGHS CORPORATION and ANTON H. SEGERSTROM, ET AL., for a <br />change in District classification from the M-1 District to the <br />C-i, C-2, R-4 and R-1 6000 Districts, and said Commission reco~L,~ended <br />approval of reclassification from the M-1 District to the C-i, C-2 <br />and R-1 Districts in accordance with Exhibit AA 480 B; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />notice and does now find that the decision of the Planning Commission <br />should be overruled; that the public necessity, convenience and <br />general welfare require the following amendments and that the uses <br />under the new classifications will not be detrimental to the <br />surrounding property; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />County <br />PARCEL <br /> <br />SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br />of Orange, State of California, described as: <br />1: <br />Beginning at the intersection of the north line of the <br />Pacific Electric Railway Right of Way as shown on a map <br />recorded in Book 45, Page 17, Record of Surveys of said <br />Orange County, with the easterly line of the Orange <br />County Flood Control District Channel right of way; thence <br />northerly along said easterly line tO a point in a line <br />parallel with and 400 feet northerly from said north line; <br />thence easterly along said parallel line 780 feet, more or <br />less, to a point in a line parallel with and 400 feet <br />westerly from the west line of B~tstol Street as shown on <br />said map; thence northerly along said parallel line 3,300 <br />feet, more or less, to a point in a line parallel with and <br />700 feet southerly from the south line of Warner Avenue <br />as said south line is shown on said map; thence westerly <br />along said parallel line 355 feet, more or less; thence <br />northerly 760 feet, more or less, to the center line of <br />Warner Avenue; thence easterly along the center line of <br />Warner Avenue for a distance of 455 feet, more or less; <br />thence southerly along a line approximately parallel to <br />the center line of Bristol Street for a distance of 360 <br />feet, more or less; thence easterly along a line approxi- <br />mately parallel tolthe center line of Warner Avenue for <br />a distance of 340 feet, more or less, to the center line <br />of Bristol Street; thence southerly along the center line <br />of Bristol Street for a distance of 2630 feet, more or less; <br />thence westerly along a line approximately parallel to the <br />center line of Segerstrom Avenue for a distance of 190 feet, <br />more or less; thence southerly along a line approximately <br />parallel to the center line of Bristol Street for a distance <br />of 384 feet, more or less; thence easterly along a line <br />approximately parallel to the center line of Segerstro~ <br />Avenue for a distance of 190 feet, more or less, to the <br />center line of Bristol Street; thence southerly along the <br />center line of Bristol Street for a distance of 830 feet, <br />more or less; thence westerly along a line approximately <br />parallel to the center line of Talbert Avenue for a distance <br />of 231 feet, more or less; thence southerly along a line <br />approximately parallel to the center line of Bristol Street <br /> <br /> <br />
