ORDINANCE NS-711 AUTHORIZING AMENDMENT TO <br />THE CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA AND THE BOARD OF ADMINISTRATION <br />OF THE CALIFORNIA STATE EMPLOYEES' RETIREMENT <br />SYSTEM <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That an amendment to the contract between the <br />City Council of the City of Santa Aha and the Board of Administra- <br />tion, California State Employees3 Retirement System is hereby <br />authorized to include in said Contract the provisions of Government <br />Code Section 20834.1, a copy of said amendment being attached <br />hereto, marked "Exhibit A", and by this reference is made a part <br />hereof as though herein set out in full. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: The Mayor of said City Council is hereby <br />authorized, empowered and directed to execute said amendment for <br />and on behalf of said Agency, and the Clerk of the Council is <br />directed to attest the same. <br /> <br /> SECTION 3: This Ordinance shall take effect thirty days <br />after the date of its adoption, and prior to fifteen days from the <br />passage thereof shall be published at least once in The Register, <br />a newspaper of general circulation, published and circulated in the <br />City of Santa Aha, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be <br />in full force and effect. <br /> <br /> SECTION 4: The Amendment to the Contract herein provided <br />for shall take effect on the 1st day of ~P~ii'~ 1964. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 3rd day of February, 1964. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />SS <br /> <br /> I, DORIS M.
