ORDINANCE NS-713 AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE <br />SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT <br />CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENTAPPLICATION 482 <br />AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 1-5-10 <br /> (EXHIBIT AA 482 A) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application 482, filed by GORDON <br />B. VAN ROEKEL for a change in District classification frc~ the R-3 <br />District to the C-2 District, and said Commission has recommended <br />APPROVAL of said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit A; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and <br />general welfare require the following amendment and that the use <br />under the new classification will not be detrimental to the <br />surrounding property. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br />County Of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br /> Beginning at a point on the south line of Arnett Drive, <br /> said point being located approximately 228.5 feet, more <br /> or less, northwesterly from that point where the center <br /> line of Main Street intersects the south line of Arnett <br /> Drive; thence southwesterly fora distance of 344.5 feet, <br /> more or less, to the Santa Aha Freeway right of way; thence <br /> northwesterly along the Santa Aha Freeway right of way for <br /> a distance of 457.5 feet, more or less, to the south line <br /> of Arnett Drive; thence easterly along the south line of <br /> Arnett Drive for a distance of 284.8 feet, more or less; <br /> thence southeasterly continuing along the south line of <br /> Arnett Drive for a distance of 312.9 feet, more or less, <br /> to the point of beginning, <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the R-3 District to the C-2 District, <br />and Sectional District Map 1-5-10 is hereby amended to show said <br />reclassification in accordance with ExhibitAA 482 A. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days <br />from and after the date of its adoption. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTF2) by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Aha at its regular meeting held on the 3rd day 1964. <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) SS <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br /> I, DORIS M.
