ORDINANCE NS-714 AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE <br />SANTA A~% MUNICIPAL CODE TO C~GE DISTRICT <br />CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENTAPPLICATION 475 <br />AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 15-5-10 <br />(EXHIBIT AA 475 B) AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NS-700 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Cc~mission has given notice of and <br />duly ~eld a public hearing on Amendment Application 475, filed by <br />THOMAS BUVINICH for a change in District classification from the <br />R-1 District to the C-5 District, and said Co~mission recommended <br />approval of said reclassification according to Exhibit AA 475 B <br />which provides for a "B" suffix parking zone for the westerly 35 feet <br />of the property and for the southerly 15 feet of the property; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and <br />general welfare require the following amendment and that the use <br />under the new classifications will not be detrimental to the <br />surrounding property. <br /> <br /> NOW, T~RREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Parcel 1: Beginning at that point where the center line of <br /> Sullivan Street intersects the center line of <br /> McFadden Avenue; thence westerly along the center <br /> line of McFadden Avenue for a distance of 129.6 <br /> feet, more or less; thence southerly along a line <br /> approximately parallel to the center line of <br /> Sullivan Street for a distance of 132 feet, more <br /> or less; thence easterly along a line approximately <br /> parallel to the center line of McFadden Avenue for <br /> a distance of 129.6 feet, more or less, to the <br /> center line of Sullivan Street; thence northerly <br /> along the center line of Sullivan Street for a <br /> distance of 132 feet, more or less, to the point <br /> of beginning, <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the C-5 District, <br />and Sectional District Map 15-5-10 is hereby amended to show said <br />reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 475 B. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: That the real property in the City of Santa Aha, <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Parcel 2~ Beginning at a point on the center line of McFadden <br /> Avenue located 129.6 feet, more or less, westerly <br /> from that point where the center line of McFadden <br /> Avenue intersects the center line of Sullivan Street, <br /> said point being the northwest corner of Parcel 1 <br /> hereinabove described; thence westerly along the <br /> center line of McFadden Avenue for a distance of <br /> 35 feet, more or less; thence southerly along a <br /> line approximately parallel to the center line of <br /> Sullivan Street for a distance of 1~7 feet, more or <br /> less, to the center line of an alley; thence <br /> easterly along the center line of said alley for a <br /> distance of 164.6 feet, more or less, to that point <br /> where said center line intersects the center line <br /> of Sullivan Street; thence northerly along the center <br /> line of Sullivan Street for a distance of 25 feet, <br /> more or less, to the southeasterly corner of <br /> Parcel 1 hereinabove described; thence westerly <br /> <br /> <br />
