ORDINANCE NS-717 AMENDING SECTION 3280 OF THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE OR ADD PRIMA FACIE SPEED LIMITS ON SEVENTEENTH, FLOWER, EIGHTH, FAIRVIEWAND FIRST STREETS AND GRAND AVENUE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: That after an engineering and traffic survey and Council determination, and under authority contained in Sections 22357 and 22358 of the Vehicle Code of the State of California, the following subsections of Section 3280 of the Santa Aha Municipal Code are hereby amended or added in words and figures as follows: Speed Limits M~les Per Hour (b) Flower Street --Santa Ana Freeway to Memory Lane --First Street to Warner Avenue 35 30 (f) Grand Avenue --Santa Clara Avenue to Seventeenth --Seventeenth Street to McFadden Avenue 40 35 (n) Westminster Avenue --Euclid Street to 2640' West of Fairview Street 40 Seventeenth Street (Westminster Avenue) --Tustin Avenue to Wright Street 40 --Wright Street to Santiago Street 35 --Santiago Street to Flower Street 30 --Flower Street to 1320' West of Fairview Street 35 (q) Bolsa Avenue (First Street) --Harbor Boulevard to the West City Limits (130' West of Cooper Street) --Harbor Boulevard to Townsend Street --Townsend Street to Birch Street --French Street to East City Limits (near Tustin Avenue) 45 35 3O 35 (v) Fairview Street --Seventeenth Street to Tenth Street --Fifth Street to McFadden Avenue --McFadden Avenue to Warner Avenue 40 35 40 (hh) Eighth Street --Broadway to Bristol Street 30 SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days from and after the date of its adoption.
