ORDINANCE NS-725 ~ENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE <br />SANTA ANAMUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT <br />CLASSIFICATION ON ~ENDMENT APPLICATION 490 <br />AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 16-5-10 <br />(EXHIBIT AA 490 A) <br /> <br /> W~EREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and <br />duly held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 490, filed <br />by TSUTOMU TAKENAGA for a change in District classification from <br />the R-1 District to the C-5 District, and said Commission has <br />recommended approval of said reclassification in accordance with <br />Exhibit A; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing <br />on notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience <br />and general welfare require the following amendment and that the <br />use under the new classification will not be detrimental to the <br />surrounding property. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Beginning at that point where the center line of Bolsa <br />Avenue intersects the center line of Andres Place; thence <br />Westerly along the center line of Bolsa Avenue for a <br />distance of 120 feet, more or less; thence southerly <br />along a line approximately parallel to the center line of <br />Andres Place for a distance of 200 feet, more or less; <br />thence easterly along a line approximately parallel to the <br />center line of Bolsa Avenue for a distance of 122.7 feet, <br />more or less, to the center line of Andres Place; thence <br />northerly along the center line of Andres Place for a <br />distance of 201 feet, more or less, to the center line of <br />Bolsa Avenue and the point of beginning, <br /> <br /> is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the C-5 District, <br />and Sectional District Map 16-5-10 is hereby amended to show said <br />reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 490 A. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days <br />from and after the date of its adoption. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 20th day of April, 1964. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />SS <br /> <br /> I, DORIS M.
