ORDINANCE NS-730 AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE <br />SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT <br />CLASSIFICATION ON AMEND~LENT APPLICATION 495 <br />AND ~ENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 15-5-10 <br />(EXHIBIT AA 495 A) W~ERE THE PLANNING <br />COMMISSION HAS RECOMMENDED DENIAL <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Co~mnission has given notice of and <br />duly held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 495, filed <br />by GERALDINE R~£H and BERTHA BOUCHIE for a change in District <br />Classification from the R-1 District to the C-5 District, and said <br />Commission has recommended DENIAL of said reclassification; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and <br />general welfare require the following amendment and that the use <br />under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surround- <br />ing property. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br /> Beginning at that point where the center line of McFadden <br /> Avenue intersects the center line of Fairview Street; thence <br /> southerly along the center line of Fairview Street for a <br /> distance of 157 feet, more or less, to that point where said <br /> center line intersects the center line of an alley; thence <br /> easterly along the center line of said alley for a distance <br /> of 193.5 feet, more or less; thence northerly along a line <br /> approximately parallel to the center line of Fairview Street <br /> for a distance of 157 feet, more or less, to the center line <br /> of McFadden Avenue; thence westerly along the center line of <br /> McFadden Avenue for a distance of 193.5 feet, more or less, <br /> to the point of beginning, <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the C-5 District <br />and Sectional District Map 15-5-10 is hereby amended to show said <br />reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 495 A. <br /> SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days <br />from and after the date of its adoption. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Aha at its regular meeting held on the 15th d~y of June, 1964. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTYOF ORANGE ) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />SS <br /> <br /> I, DORIS M.
