ORDINANCE NS-736 AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION ON AMF~NDMENT APPLICATION 501 AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 5-5-9 (EXHIBIT AA 501 A) WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 501, filed by JOSEPH ROSA for a change in District classification from the A-1 District to the R-1 District, and said Commission has recommended approval of said reclassification; and WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and general welfare require the following amendment and that the use under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding territory. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Aha, county of Orange, State of California, described as: Beginning at a point on the center line of Wright Street located 170 feet, more or less, southerly from that point where the center line of Wright Street intersects the center line of Santa Clara Avenue; thence easterly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Santa Clara Avenue for a distance of 270.5 feet, more or less, to the center line of Concord Street; thence northerly along the center line of Concord Street for a distance of 170 feet, more or less, to the center line of Santa Clara Avenue; thence easterly along the center line of Santa Clara Avenue for a distance of 140 feet, more or less; thence southerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Wright Street for a distance of 528 feet, more or less; thence westerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Santa Clara Avenue for a distance of 410.5 feet, more or less, to the center line of Wright Street; thence northerly along the center line of Wright Street for a distance of 358 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning, is hereby reclassified from the A-1 District to the R-1 District, and Sectional District Map 5-5-9 is hereby amended to show said reclassi- fication in accordance with Exhibit AA 501 A. SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days from and after the date of its adoption.
