ORDINANCE NS-737 AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE <br />SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT <br />CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION 502 <br />AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 17-5-9 <br /> (EXHIBIT AA 502 A) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 502, filed by <br />LAWRENCE A. WHITESIDES for a change in District classification from <br />the A-1 District to the C-5 District, and said Commission has <br />recommended approval of said reclassification; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and <br />general welfare require the following amendment and that the use <br />under the new classification will not be detrimental to the <br />surrounding territory. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Beginning at a point on the center line of First Street <br />located 1024.0 feet, more or less, westerly from a point <br />33 feet north of an angle point in the easterly boundary <br />line of the City of Santa Aha; thence southerly along a <br />line approximately parallel to said easterly boundary line <br />for a distance of 253.7 feet, more or less, to the Santa <br />Ana Freeway right of way; thence northwesterly along the <br />Santa Ana Freeway right of way for a distance of 121.3 feet, <br />more or less; thence northeasterly along the Santa Ana <br />Freeway right of way for a distance of 69.6 feet, more or <br />less, to the southerly line of First Street; thence northerly <br />for a distance of 33 feet, more or less, to the center line <br />of First Street; thence easterly along the center line of <br />First Street for a distance of 20.7 feet, more or less, to <br />the point of beginning, <br />is hereby reclassified from the A-1 District to the C-5 District, <br />and Sectional District Map 17-5-9 is hereby amended to show said <br />reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 502 A. <br /> SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days <br />frc~ and after the date of its adoption. <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 20th day of July, 1964. <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />vote, to wit: <br /> <br /> AYES, <br /> NOES, <br /> ABSENT, <br /> <br />COUNCILMEN: <br />COUNCILMEN: <br />COUNCILMEN: <br /> <br />Hubbard: Harvey~ GiLmore~ Schlueter~ Hall <br />None <br />None <br /> <br /> CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUN'~Y OF ORANGE ) SS <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> I, DORIS M.
