ORDINANCE NS-738 AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE <br />SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT <br />CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION 503 <br />AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 23-5-10 <br />(EXHIBIT AA 503 A) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 503, filed by <br />SHOSUKE NITTA for a change in District classification from the R-1 <br />District to the C-2 District, and said Commission has recomunended <br />approval of said reclassification; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and <br />general welfare require the following amendment and that the use <br />under the new classification will not be detrimental to the <br />surrounding territory. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Aha, <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br /> Beginning at that point where the center line of Edinger <br /> Avenue intersects the center line of Raitt Street; thence <br /> westerly along the center line of Edinger Avenue for a <br /> distance of 192 feet, more or less, to that point where <br /> said center line intersects the center line of an alley; <br /> thence northerly along the center line of said alley for <br /> a distance of 202 feet, more or less; thence easterly <br /> along a line approximately parallel to the center line of <br /> Edinger Avenue for a distance of 200.8 feet, more or less, <br /> to the center line of Raitt Street; thence southerly along <br /> the center line of Raitt Street for a distance of 203 feet, <br /> more or less, to the center line of Edinger Avenue and the <br /> point of beginning, <br />is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the C-2 District, <br />and Sectional District Map 23-5-10 is hereby amended to show said <br />reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 503 A. <br /> SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days <br />from and after the date of its adoption. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 20th day of July, 1964. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) SS <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> I, DORIS M.
