ORDINANCE NS-740 Ai~F~NDING ARTICLE IX OF THE <br />SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT <br />CLASSIFICATIONS ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION 505 <br />AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 7-5-9 <br />(KX}{IBIT AA 505 B) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Ccmunission has given notice of and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 505, filed by <br />RITA WRITER and MARY C. CAPASSO for a change in District classifi- <br />cations from the R-1 and R-3 Districts to the c-5 District, and said <br />Co~m~ission has recommended approval of said reclassifications from <br />the R-1 and R-3 Districts to the C-5 and R-lB Districts in accordance <br />with Exhibit AA 505 B providing for off-street parking; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and <br />general welfare require the following amendments and that the use <br />under the new classifications will not be detrimental to the <br />surrounding territory. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />PARCEL <br /> <br />1: Beginning at that point where the center line of Sixth <br />Street intersects the center line of Grand Avenue; thence <br />easterly along the center line of Sixth Street for a distance <br />of 186 feet, more or less; thence southerly along a line <br />approximately parallel to the center line of Grand Avenue for <br />a distance of 208.5 feet, more or less; thence easterly along <br />a line approximately parallel to the center line of Sixth <br />Street for a distance of 4 feet, more or less; thence <br />southerly along a line approximately parallel to the center <br />line of Grand Avenue for a distance of 50 feet, more or less; <br />thence westerly along a line approximately parallel to the <br />center line of Sixth Street for a distance of 190 feet, more <br />or less, to the center line of Grand Avenue; thence northerly <br />along the center line of Grand Avenue for a distance of 258.5 <br />feet, more or less, to the center line of Sixth Street and <br />the point of beginning, <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the R-3 District to the C-5 District, <br />and Sectional District Map 7-5-9 is hereby amended to show said <br />reclassification An accordance with Exhibit AA 505 B. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />PARCEL <br /> <br />2: Beginning at a point on the center line of Sixth Street <br />located 186 feet, more or less, easterly from that point <br />where the center line of Sixth Street intersects the center <br />line of Grand Avenue, said point being also the northeasterly <br />corner of~;Parcel 1 hereinabove described; thence easterly <br />along the center line of Sixth Street for a distance of 43 <br />feet, more or less; thence southerly along a line approxi- <br />mately parallel to the center line of Grand Avenue for a <br />distance of 158.5 feet, more or less; thence easterly along <br />a line approximately parallel to the center line of Sixth <br />Street for a distance of 120 feet, more or less; thence <br />southerly along a line approximately parallel to the center <br />line of Grand Avenue for a distance of 50 feet, more or less; <br />thence westerly along a line approximately parallel to the <br />center line of Sixth Street for a distance of 163 feet, more <br />or less; thence northerly along a line approximately parallel <br />to the center line of Grand Avenue for a distance of 208.5 <br />feet, more or less, to the center line of Sixth Street and <br />the point of beginning, <br /> <br /> <br />
