ORDINANCE NS-741 REPEALING CHAPTER 7 OF <br />ARTICLE III OF THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL <br />CODE (REGISTRATION OF FELONS) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, recent decisions have held unconstitutional many <br />ordinances throughout the State of California which were similar <br />to or identical with the Santa Ana Municipal Code sections herein <br />repealed. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That Chapter 7 of Article III (Registration of <br />Felons) is hereby repealed. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty <br />days from and after the date of its adoption. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 8th day of September, 1964. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />SS <br /> <br /> I, DORIS M.
