ORDINANCE NS-742 AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE <br />SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT <br />CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION 507 <br />AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 1-5-10 <br /> (EXHIBIT AA 507 A) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and <br />duly held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 507, filed <br />by UNITED CALIFORNIA BANK for a change in District Classification <br />from the R-2 District to the R-2B District, and said Commission has <br />recommended approval of said reclassification; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and <br />general welfare require the following amendment and that the use <br />under the new classification will not be detrimental to the <br />surrounding area. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Beginning at a point on the center line of Greenleaf Street <br />located 180.5 feet, more or less, northerly from that point <br />where the center line of Greenleaf Street intersects the <br />center line of Seventeenth Street; thence northerly along <br />the center line of Greenleaf Street for a distance of 75 feet, <br />more or less; thence easterly along a line approximately <br />parallel to the center line of Seventeenth Street for a <br />distance of 279.3 feet, more or less; thence northerly along <br />a line approximately parallel to the center line of Ross <br />Street for a distance of 10 feet, more or less; thence <br />easterly along a line approximately parallel to the center <br />line of Seventeenth Street for a distance of 110 feet, more <br />or less, to the center line of Ross Street; thence southerly <br />along the center line of Ross Street for a distance of <br />55.8 feet, more or less; thence westerly along a line <br />approximately parallel to the center line of Seventeenth <br />Street for a distance of 110 feet, more or less; thence <br />southerly along a line approximately parallel to the center <br />line of Ross Street for a distance of 29.2 feet, more or <br />less; thence westerly along a line approximately parallel <br />to the center line of Seventeenth Street for a distance of <br />279.3 feet, more or less, to the center line of Greenleaf <br />Street and the point of beginning, <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the R-2 District to the R-2B District, <br />and Sectional District Map 1-5-10 is hereby amended to show said <br />reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 507 A. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty <br />days from and after the date of its adoption. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Aha at its regular meeting held on the 3rd day of August, 1964. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
