ORDINANCE NS-747 AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE <br />SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT <br />CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION 510 <br />AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 16-5-10 <br />(EXHIBIT AA 510 A) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 510, filed by <br />VINCENT A. RAYA, ET AL., for a change in District classification <br />from the A-1 District to the R-2 District, and said Commission has <br />recomunended approval of said reclassification; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and <br />general welfare require the following amendment and that the use <br />under the new classification will not be detrimental to the <br />surrounding property. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Beginning at a point located 1,335 feet, more or less, <br />southerly from the center line of Bolsa Avenue and 190 feet, <br />more or less, easterly from the center line of Newhope <br />Street, said point being on the easterly line of property <br />zoned R-2 and fronting on Newhope Street; thence easterly <br />along a line approximately parallel to the center line of <br />Bolsa Avenue for a distance of 470 feet, more or less; <br />thence southerly along a line approximately parallel to the <br />center line of Newhope Street for a distance of 346 feet, <br />more or less; thence westerly along a line approximately <br />parallel to the center line of Bolsa.Avenue .~ for a distance <br />of 470 feet, more or less; thence northerly along a line <br />approximately parallel to the center line of Newhope Street <br />for a distance of 346 feet, more or less, to the point of <br />beginning, <br />is hereby reclassified from the A-1 District to the R-2 District, <br />and Sectional District Map 16-5-10 is hereby amended to show said <br />reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 510 A. <br /> SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days <br />from and after the date of its adoption. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Aha at its regular meeting held on the 17th day of August, 1964. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />SS <br /> <br />.~YOR <br /> <br /> I, DORIS M.
