ORDINANCE NS-753 PROVIDING FOR THE HOLDING <br />OF A SPECIAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION ON OCTOBER 13, <br />1964, FOR THE QUESTION OF ANNEXATION OF <br />TERRITORY UNDER NAME OF "SANTA CLARA AND <br />TUSTIN N. W. ANNEXATION" <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana adopted <br />Resolution 64-117 on August 3, 1964, providing the details for an <br />election on the question of annexing certain territory to the City <br />of Santa Ana as provided for in the Annexation Act of 1913. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That a Special Municipal Election is hereby <br />called and shall be held on October 13, 1964, in the territory <br />known as "SANTA CLARA AND TUSTIN N. W. ANNEXATION". All details <br />of holding said election shall be as set forth in Resolution 64-117. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: That the proposition to be placed on the ballot <br />and submitted to the voters residing within the territory shall <br />be as follows: <br /> <br />Shall "SANTA CLARA AND TUSTIN N. W. <br />ANNEXATION" be annexed to the City <br />of Santa Ana, California? <br /> <br />: YES : : <br /> <br />: NO : : <br /> <br />Any voter desiring to vote in favor of annexing said territory <br />should mark a cross in the box immediately to the right of the <br />word "YES"; any voter desiring to vote against said annexation <br />should mark a cross immediately to the right of the word "NO". <br /> <br /> SECTION 3: That this Ordinance, being an ordinance calling <br />and otherwise relating to an election, shall take effect upon the <br />date of its publication. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 8th day of September, 1964. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />SS <br /> <br /> I, DORIS M.
