ORDINANCE NS-760 PREZONING AND ESTABLISHING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLI- CATION NO. 516, FILED BY JOHN A. STEELE, ET AL., AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 4-5-9 (F~qIBIT AA 516 A) WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 516, filed by JOHN A. STEELE, ET AL., to prezone to the R-4 District certain land not as yet annexed to the City of Santa Aha and which land is presently situated in the County of Orange E-1 District, and said Commission has recommended APPROVAL of said prezoning; and WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and general welfare require the following amendment, and that the use under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: That the realproperty in the County of Orange, State of California, described as: Beginning at a point located 660 feet, more or less, northerly and 330 feet, more or less, easterly from that point where the center line of Tustin Avenue inter- sects the center line of Santa Clara Avenue; thence easterly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Santa Clara Avenue for a distance of 990.3 feet, more or less; thence northerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Tustin Avenue for a distance of 660 feet, more or less; thence westerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Santa Clara Avenue for a distance of 990.3 feet, more or less; thence southerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Tustin Avenue for a distance of 660 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning, and presently c~assified as being in the County of Orange E-1 District, is hereby prezoned to the City of Santa Ana R-4 District, and Sectional District Map 4-5-9 is hereby amended to show the establishment of this classification and prezoning in accordance with Exhibit AA 516 A. SECTION 2: This prezoning and classification shall become effective whensoever in the future the hereinabove described property is annexed to the City of Santa Ana or 30 days from and after the date of the adoption of this Ordinance, whichever shall be the later date.
