ORDINANCE NS-762 CHANGING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION <br />ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION 518, FILED BY RICHFIELD <br />OIL CORPORATION, AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT <br />MAP 7-5-9 (EXHIBIT AA 518 A) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application 518, filed by <br />RICHFIELD OIL CORPORATION for a change in District classification <br />from the R-2 District to the C-5 District, and said Commission has <br />recommended approval of said reclassification; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and <br />general welfare require the following amendment and that the use <br />under the new classification will not be detrimental to the <br />surrounding property. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br /> Beginning at a point on the center line of Seventeenth <br /> Street located 60 feet, more or less, easterly from that <br /> point where the center line of Poinsettia Street intersects <br /> the center line of Seventeenth Street; thence easterly <br /> along the center line of Seventeenth Street for a distance <br /> of 130.4 feet, more or less; thence southerly along a line <br /> approximately parallel to the center line of Santiago <br /> Avenue for a distance of 147.3 feet, more or less; thence <br /> westerly along a line approximately parallel to the center <br /> line of Seventeenth Street for a distance of 82.7 feet, <br /> more or less, to the Santa Ana Freeway Right~f Way; thence <br /> northwesterly along the Santa Aha Freeway Right of Way for <br /> a distance of 70.4 feet, more or less; thence northerly <br /> for a distance of 99.9 feet, more or less, to the center <br /> line of Seventeenth Street and the point of beginning, <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the R-2 District to the C-5 District, <br />and Sectional District Map 7-5-9 is hereby amended to show said <br />reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 518 A. <br /> SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty <br />days from and after the date of its adoption. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 16th day of November, 1964. <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) SS <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br /> I, DORIS M.
