ORDINAi~CE NS-763 CHANGING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION <br />ON ~vlENDMENT APPLICATION 519, FILED BY DO~ALD D. <br />RANDALL, AND ~4ENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP <br />17-5-9 (EXHIBIT AA ~19 A) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application 519, filed by DONALD <br />D. RANDALL on behalf of the RANDALL PUBLISHING CO~A~, INC., for a <br />change in District classification from the R-1 District to the <br />District, and said Commission has recommended approval of said <br />reclassification; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and <br />general welfare require the following amendment and that the use <br />under the new classification will not be detrimental to the <br />surrounding property. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Beginning at that point where the center line of Chestnut <br />Avenue intersects the center line of Grand Avenue; thence <br />easterly along t'he center line of Chestnut Avenue for a <br />distance of 165 feet, more or less; thence southerly along <br />a line approximately parallel to the center line of Grand <br />Avenue for a distance of 296.3 feet, more or less; thence <br />westerly along a line approximately parallel to the center <br />line of Chestnut Avenue for a distance of 165 feet, more <br />or less, to the center line of Grand Avenue; thence northerly <br />along the center line of Grand Avenue for a distance of <br />296.3 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning, <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the M-1 District, <br />and Sectional District Map 17-5-9 is hereby amended to show said <br />reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 519 A. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty <br />days from and after the date of its adoption. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Aha at its regular meeting held on the 16th day of November, 1964. <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) SS <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> I, DORIS M.
