ORDINANCE NS-764 CHANGING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION <br />ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION 521 FILED BY ROSABELLE <br />CORRY, AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT i~P 15-5-10 <br />(EXHIBIT AA 521 B) <br /> <br /> WHERE~S, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application 521, filed by ROSABELLE <br />CORRY for a change in District classification from the R-1 and R-2 <br />Districts to the C-2 District, and said Commission has recommended <br />APPROVAL in accordance with Exhibit AA 521 B reclassifying the subject <br />property from the R-1 and R-2 Districts to the C-2 and R-lB Districts <br />providing for off-street parking; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />notice and does nOw find that the public necessity, convenience and <br />general welfare require the following amendment and that the uses <br />under the new classifications will not be detrimental to the surround- <br />ing property; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Aha, <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />PARCEL 1: <br /> <br />Beginning at that point where the center line of <br />Sullivan Street intersects the center line of First <br />Street; thence southerly along the center line of <br />Sullivan Street for a distance of 277 feet, more or <br />less; thence westerly along a line approximately <br />parallel to the center line of First Street for a <br />distance of 1,056 feet, more or less; thence northerly <br />along a line approximately parallel to the center line <br />of Sullivan Street for a distance of 277 feet, more or <br />less, to the center line of First Street; thence <br />easterly along the center line of First Street for a <br />distance of 427 feet, more or less; thence southerly <br />along a line approximately parallel to the center line <br />of Sullivan Street for a distance of 155 feet, more or <br />less; thence easterly along a line approximately <br />parallel to the center line of First Street for a <br />distance of 75 feet, more or less; thence northerly <br />along a line approximately parallel to the center line <br />of Sullivan Street for a distance of 155 feet, more or <br />less, to the center line of First Street; thence <br />easterly along the center line of First Street for a <br />distance of 554 feet, more or less, to the point of <br />beginning, <br /> <br />is hereby <br />District, <br />show said <br /> <br />reclassified from the R-1 and R-2 Districts to the C-2 <br />and Sectional District i~ap 15-5-10 is hereby amended to <br />reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 521 B. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />PARCEL 2: <br /> <br />Beginning at a point on the center line of Sullivan <br />Street located 277 feet, more or less, southerly from <br />that point where the center line of Sullivan Street <br />intersects the center line of First Street; said point <br />of beginning being the southeast corner of Parcel 1 <br />hereinabove described; thence southerly, along the <br />center line of Sullivan Street for a distance of 75 feet, <br />more or less; thence westerly along a line approximately <br />parallel to the center line of First Street for a dis- <br />tance of 1,056 feet, more or less; thence northerly <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
