ORDINANCE NS-765 CHANGING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION ON A~NDMENT APPLICATION NO. 522 FILED BY HAROLD T. SEGERSTROi~ AND ~ENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 26-5-10 (EXHIBIT AA 522 A) WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly held a public hearing on Amendment Application NO. 522, filed by HAROLD T. SEGERSTROM for a change in District classification from the R-4 District to the R-1 District, and said Commission has recom- mended APPROVAL of said reclassification; and W/4EREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on notice and does nOw find that the public necessity, convenience and general welfare require the following amendment and that the use under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as: Beginning at a point On the center line of Talbert Avenue located 380 feet, more or less, westerly from that point where the center line of Talbert Avenue intersects the center line of Bristol Street; thence westerly along the center line of Tatbert Avenue for a distance of 599 feet, more or less; thence northerlyl00 feet, more or less, to the easterly right of way line of the Orange County Flood Control District channel; thence northwesterly along said right of way line of the Orange County Flood Control District channel to a point located 500 feet, more or less, northerly from the center line of Talbert Avenue; thence easterly along a line approxi- mately parallel to the center line of Talbert Avenue for a distance of 780 feet, more or less; thence southerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Bristol Street for a distance of 100 feet, more or less; thence easterly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Talbert Avenue for a distance of 60 feet, more or less; thence southerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Bristol Street for a distance of 400 feet, more or less, to the center line of Talbert Avenue and the point of beginning, is hereby reclassified from the R-4 District to the R-1 District, and Sectional District Map 25-5-10 is hereby amended to show said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 522 A. SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days from and after the date of its adoption.
