ORDINANCE NS-908 AMENDING CHAPTER 2 OF ARTICLE IX <br />OF THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE BY ADDING SECTIONS <br />9210.37.5 AND 9210.37.6 TO PART 1 THEREOF AND ADDING <br />SECTION 9244.1 TO PART 4 THEREOF TO PROVIDE <br />LANDSCAPING PROVISIONS <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That Article IX of the Santa Aha Municipal Code <br />is hereby amended by adding Sections 9210.37.5 and 9210.37.6 to <br />Part 1 of Chapter 2 thereof to read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 9210.37.5. Landscape. <br /> Any yard or other open space which is purposely designed to <br />create an aesthetic environment composed of plant materials <br />and/or other decorative elements such as fountains, ponds, <br />sculptures, walls, fences, and planters. <br /> <br />Section 9210.37.6. Landscaping. <br /> The act of providing landscape as defined in this Part. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: That Article IX of the Santa Ana Municipal Code <br />is hereby amended by adding Section 9244.1 to Part 4 of Chapter 2 <br />thereof to read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 9244.1. Landscape. <br /> W~ere a landscape, as defined in Part 1 of this Chapter, is <br />required by the provisions of this Chapter, said landscape shall <br />be continuously maintained by proper pruning, mowing of lawns, <br />weeding, removal of litter, fertilizing, replacement of plants <br />and decorative materials when necessary, and the regular watering <br />of plants. <br /> <br /> SECTION 3: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days <br />from and after the date of its adoption. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of <br />Aha at its regular meeting held on <br /> <br />T~.~EST: <br /> <br /> CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br /> the city of Santa <br />the 2nd day of January, 1968. <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />SS <br /> <br /> I, DORIS M.
