OP~DINANCE NS-910 CHANGING DISTKICT CLASSIFICATIONS
<br />ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NUMBER 617 FILED BY CARL
<br />J. KLATT AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 5-5-9

<br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
<br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 617, filed by
<br />CARL J. KLATT for a change in District classifications from the A-l,
<br />R-lB, C-5, and C-1 Districts to the R-l, R-lB, and C-5 Districts, and
<br />said Commission, by its Resolution 5829, has recommended APPROVAL of
<br />said reclassifications in accordance with Exhibit AA 617 A; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
<br />said reclassifications on published notice as required by law and
<br />does now find that the public necessity, convenience, and general
<br />welfare require the following amendment, and that the uses under the
<br />new classifications will not be detrimental to the surrounding area.
<br />
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
<br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
<br />
<br /> SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
<br />County of Orange, State of California, described as:
<br />
<br />Parcel 1: Beginning at a point located 277 feet, more or less,
<br /> northerly from the center line of Seventeenth Street
<br />and 320 feet, more or less, westerly from the center line of Old
<br />Tustin Avenue; thence westerly along a line approximately parallel
<br />to the center line of Seventeenth Street for a distance of 845.2
<br />feet, more or less; thence northerly along a line approximately
<br />parallel to the center line of Old Tustin Avenue for a distance
<br />of 207 feet, more or less; thence easterly along a line approxi-
<br />mately parallel to the center line of Seventeenth Street for a
<br />distance of 845.2 feet, more or less; thence southerly along a
<br />line approximately parallel to the center line of Old Tustin
<br />Avenue for a distance of 207 feet, more or less, to the point of
<br />beginning,
<br />
<br />is hereby reclassified from the R-lB and A-1 Districts to the C-5
<br />District, and Sectional District Map 5-5-9 is hereby amended to show
<br />said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 617A.

<br /> SECTION 2: That the real property in the City of Santa Aha,
<br />County of Orange, State of California, described as:

<br />Parcel 2:
<br />
<br /> (a) Beginning at the northeast corner of Parcel 1, above-described,
<br /> and continuing westerly along the northerly boundary of said
<br />Parcel 1 for a distance of 845.2 feet, more or less; thence
<br />northerly for a distance of 65 feet, more or less; thence easterly
<br />along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Seventeenth
<br />Street for a distance of 844.7 feet, more or less; thence southerly
<br />along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Old Tustin
<br />Avenue for a distance of 65 feet, more or less, to the point of
<br />beginning; and
<br />
<br /> (b) Beginning at a point located 320 feet, more or less, westerly
<br /> from the center line of Old Tustin Avenue and 695.9 feet, more
<br />or less, northerly from the center line of Seventeenth Street;
<br />thence northerly along a line approximately parallel to the center
<br />line of Tustin Avenue for a distance of 1156.6 feet, more or less;
<br />said line being the easterly boundary of Parcel 3, hereinbelow
<br />described; thence easterly for a distance of 43 feet, more or less;
