ORDINANCE NS-912 CHANGING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION <br />ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION 618 FILED BY HUMPHRIES <br />INVESTMENTS, INC. AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT <br />MAP 16-5-10 (EXHIBIT AA 618 B) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 618, filed by <br />HUMPHRIES INVESTMENTS, INC. for a change in District classification <br />from the A-1 and C-2 Districts to the C-2 District, and said Commission <br />found that the development standards and requirements of the C-4 <br />District would be more applicable and advisable for commercial <br />development of the subject property and by its Resolution 5830 has <br />recommended approval in accordance with Exhibit AA 618 B reclassifying <br />said property to the C-4 District; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience, and <br />general welfare require the following amendment and that the use <br />under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding <br />area; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa A/la, <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Beginning at that point where the center line of McFadden Avenue <br />intersects the center line of Harbor Boulevard; thence westerly <br />along the center line of McFadden Avenue for a distance of 660 feet, <br />more or less; thence northerly along a line approximately parallel <br />to the center line of Harbor Boulevard for a distance of 500 feet, <br />more or less; thence easterly along a line approximately parallel <br />to the center line of McFadden Avenue for a distance of 660 feet, <br />more or less, to the center line of Harbor Boulevard; thence <br />southerly along the center line of Harbor Boulevard for a distance <br />of 500 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning, <br />is hereby reclassified from the A-1 and C-2 Districts to the C-4 <br />District, and Sectional District Map 16-5-10 is hereby amended to show <br />said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 618 B. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) <br />days from and after the date of its adoption. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 19th day of Februa~y~ i~6~ <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFOP~NIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />SS <br /> <br /> I, DORIS M.
