ORDINANCE NS-914 PREZONING AND ESTABLISHING <br />DISTRICT CLASSIFICATIONS ON AMENDMENT APPLI- <br />CATION NO. 620, FILED BY LESTER W. AND <br />FLORENCE J. ROHRS, AND AMENDING SECTIONAL <br />DISTRICT MAP 31-4-9 (EXHIBIT AA 620 A) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 620, filed by <br />LESTER W. and FLORENCE J. ROHRS, proposing to prezone and establish <br />District classifications from the County of Orange A-1 District to <br />the City of Santa Ana R-1 and C-5 Districts, and said Commission has <br />recommended, by its Resolution No. 5833, that said prezoning and <br />classification be approved as shown on Exhibit AA 620 A; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />notice and does now find that public necessity, convenience, and <br />general welfare require the following amendment and that the use <br />under the new classifications will not be detrimental to the <br />surrounding property; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That the real property in the County of Orange, <br />State of California, described as: <br /> <br />PARCEL 1: <br /> <br />Beginning at that point where the center line of Fairhaven <br />Avenue intersects the center line of Glassell Avenue, said <br />point being also on the existing boundary line of the City <br />of Santa Aha; thence westerly along the center line of <br />Fairhaven Avenue for a distance of 150.63 feet, more or <br />less; thence northerly along a line approximately parallel <br />to the center line of Glassell Avenue and the existing <br />boundary line of the City of Santa Ana for a distance of <br />172.63 feet, more or less; thence easterly along a line <br />approximately parallel to the center line of Fairhaven <br />Avenue for a distance of 150.63 feet, more or less, to the <br />existing boundary line of the City of Santa Ana; thence <br />southerly along said existing boundary line for a distance <br />of 172.63 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning, <br /> <br />is hereby pre-zoned and classified from the County of Orange A-1 <br />District to the City of Santa Ana R-1 District, and Sectional District <br />Map 31-4-9 is hereby amended to show said prezoning and classification <br />in accordance with Exhibit AA 620 A. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: That the real property in the County of Orange, <br />State of California, described as: <br /> <br />PARCEL 2: <br /> <br />Beginning at that point on the westerly boundary line of <br />the City of Santa Ana, said point being located 172.63 feet, <br />more or less, northerly from that point where the center <br />line of Glassell Avenue intersects the center line of <br />Fairhaven Avenue; thence westerly along the northerly <br />boundary line of Parcel 1, hereinabove described, for a <br />distance of 150.63 feet, more or less; thence southerly <br />along the westerly boundary line of said Parcel 1 for a <br />distance of 172.63 feet, more or less, to the center line <br />of Fairhaven Avenue; thence westerly along the center line <br />of Fairhaven Avenue for a distance of 134.37 feet, more or <br />less; thence northerly along a line approximately parallel <br />to the center line of Glassell Avenue for a distance of <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
