ORDINANCE NS-924 AMENDING ORDINANCE NS-902 TO CORR]ECT A/q ERROR CONTkINED THEREIN WHEREkS, Ordinance NS-902 was heretofore adopted by this City Council on December 4, 1967, to change District Classification on Amendment Application No. 614 filed by Lloyd E. Klein and Amending Sectional District Map 11-5-10 (Exhibit AA 614 A); and WHEREAS, in the enactment of said Ordinance an error occurred requiring an amendment thereto; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: That Ordinance NS-902 is hereby amended to read as follows: "WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 614, filed by LLOYD E. KLEIN for a change in District classification from the R-1 District to the R-lB District, and said Commission, by its Resolution 5823, has recommended APPROVAL of said re- classification in accordance with Exhibit AA 614 A; and "WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on said reclassification on published notice as required by law and does now find that the public necessity, convenience, and general welfare require the following amendment, and that the use under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property. "NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: "SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as: Beginning at a point on the center line of King Street located 242.7 feet, more or less, southwesterly from that point where said center line intersects the center line of Seventeenth Street; thence southeasterly along a line perpendicular to the center line of King Street for a distance of 30 feet; thence easterly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Seventeenth Street for a distance of 198.7 feet, more or less; thence southerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of English Street for a distance of 64 feet, more or less; thence westerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Seventeenth Street for a distance of 237.4 feet, more or less; thence northwesterly along a line perpendicular to the center line of King Street for a distance of 30 feet, to the center line of King Street; thence northeasterly along the center line of King Street for a distance of 72.2 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning, is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the R-lB District, and Sectional District Map 11-5-10 is hereby amended to show said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 614 A. "SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days from and after the date of its adoption.
